About Contour

Contour was founded in 1992 by ir Henk Verhoeven.

After studying Industrial Design in Delft, he started manufacturing design products from glass. Together with several fellow designers, products were developed and produced in-house in Rijen in Brabant.

The bending of complex glass shapes in combination with tempering increasingly developed into a specialisation that was also needed by other companies. More and more glass products and glass components were supplied to industries such as lighting, furniture, machine construction, automotive and arts and crafts.

After more than a quarter of a century, the company moved to Breda and started working differently. Now more focused on smaller dimensions and mainly as a supplier to industry and craft and with a focus on the speciality of bent tempered glass.

What has not changed is the high attention to detail and quality.
